The 3.6-3-5.1 ratio (3.6% nitrogen, 3% phosphate, 5.1% potash) is potassium-forward — nitrogen for canopy growth, potassium for root development and cold tolerance. All of the nitrogen is nitrate nitrogen, the form roots take up directly, for faster response and lower burn risk than ammonium-heavy formulas.
