Sulfate Of Potash

When extra potassium and sulfur may be helpful

• Alongside a regular fertilizer that supplies little or no potassium and sulfur
• For plants in soilless mixes or hydroponics, where potassium and sulfur is not supplied by the soil
• When a soil test shows potassium and sulfur is low
• For crops that use a lot of potassium and sulfur, such as tomatoes, fruit trees, grapes and root crops
• During active growth, when demand for potassium and sulfur is highest

Light, watering, roots, temperature and pH shape how a plant looks, and shortfalls of different nutrients can resemble one another, so look at the whole plant, or test the soil, before adding potassium and sulfur.
