Frequently asked questions

What does a soil revitalizer do?

It restores biological life and organic matter to soil that has been cropped hard, sat unused or been fed synthetic salts for years. Roots grow better and fertilizer works better afterwards.

How long will one bottle last?

At 1 tsp per quart, the 8 oz bottle makes about 48 watering cans of feed. For a typical shelf of 10–15 plants fed every 1–2 weeks in season, that's several months of feeding — and the 32 oz bottle four times that.

Can I use it on old potting mix instead of repotting?

Yes, it refreshes tired mix between repots. If the mix has shrunk, compacted or repels water, repotting into fresh soil is still the better fix.

How often should I use it?

Every 1–2 weeks in spring and summer and every 4 weeks in fall and winter, mixed into your normal watering. For new plantings, apply at planting and again a week or two later.

Which plants can I use it on?

Anything — vegetable beds, raised beds, container gardens, perennial borders and lawns, and the rest of the garden. It is not plant-specific.

When will I see results?

Roots respond first. Within two to four weeks plants hold moisture better and recover from stress faster; visible top growth follows.
