At 1 tsp per quart, the 8 oz bottle makes about 48 watering cans of feed. For a typical shelf of 10–15 plants fed every 1–2 weeks in season, that's several months of feeding — and the 32 oz bottle four times that.
Every four to six weeks during the growing season on problem areas, or twice a season as maintenance. Water it in well after applying.
Every 1–2 weeks in spring and summer and every 4 weeks in fall and winter, mixed into your normal watering. For new plantings, apply at planting and again a week or two later.
Anything — clay lawns, compacted beds, sandy soil, raised beds and new construction yards, and the rest of the garden. It is not plant-specific.
