Yes at the labeled rate. Apply it to the soil of potted pond plants rather than pouring into open water, which feeds the plants directly and keeps nutrients away from the water column.
At 1 tsp per quart, the 8 oz bottle makes about 48 watering cans of feed. For a typical shelf of 10–15 plants fed every 1–2 weeks in season, that's several months of feeding — and the 32 oz bottle four times that.
Every two to four weeks from spring through late summer while water is warm and plants are growing. Stop in fall as they go dormant.
Follow the labeled rate for your tank or pond volume, or push the diluted feed into the soil of potted plants so the roots take it up directly.
Water lilies, lotus, pickerel rush, cattails and marsh marigold, and other rooted aquatic and bog plants.
New leaves come in greener and larger within two to three weeks; flowering plants set more buds over the following month.
