Give your plumeria the nutrients it needs to support healthy green leaves, strong growth, and the colorful, fragrant blooms you look forward to. Our 3-3.6-5.1 liquid fertilizer mixes easily with water for feeding your plumeria in a patio pot or in the ground. Made for simple, consistent nutrition during its active tropical growing season.
Your plumeria puts on most of its leaves and flower growth when weather is warm and sunlight is plentiful. Consistent feeding can support that growth, especially if you're growing your tree in a container that needs frequent watering through summer.
Have plenty of leaves but no flowers yet? Your plumeria may need more direct sunlight, warmer conditions, or more time to mature—not necessarily more fertilizer. Many plumerias also drop their leaves in winter, which is a normal part of dormancy rather than a sign of poor nutrition.
Use our liquid fertilizer as directed when your plumeria is actively growing. If yours is leafless and resting during cooler weather, avoid pushing extra feeding in hopes of making it flower sooner.
Why growers choose it: Plumeria-focused 3-3.6-5.1 nutrition, support for healthy foliage and blooms, and easy feeding for your pots or landscape plantings.

If your plumeria is leafless and dormant, it generally needs less feeding. More fertilizer won't replace the warmth and direct sun that help it bloom.
Supports colorful, fragrant blooms and healthy foliage for a vibrant, beautiful plumeria.
Supports fresh leaf and branch growth for a fuller, healthy-looking plant.
Strong healthy root development for effective water and nutrient uptake.

Give plumeria strong direct sun during the growing season. Plenty of light supports sturdy growth and flowering, while low light can produce weak growth and fewer blooms. Outdoor summer sun is often beneficial when plants are acclimated gradually.
During active growth, water deeply and allow the soil to dry partly before watering again. As your plumeria enters dormancy and loses leaves, reduce watering significantly. Plumeria roots are especially vulnerable when cool conditions and wet soil occur together.
Use a very well-drained mix that does not remain soggy after watering. Good aeration supports healthy roots, which are essential for taking up nutrients and supporting strong branches, leaves, and flowers.
Feed Plumeria Fertilizer through the warm growing season, every one to two weeks in spring and summer and every four weeks in fall and winter, at 2 tablespoons per gallon in a watering can. Nutrition supports new stems, leaves, roots, and flower development, but extra fertilizer will not force blooms from an immature or poorly lit plant.
Prune mainly to shape your plumeria, remove damaged wood, or encourage branching. Make cuts when your plant is actively able to recover, and remember that heavy pruning can delay flowering on the branches that were removed.
Mature plumeria flowers best with abundant sun, warm conditions, healthy roots, and steady seasonal growth. Our fertilizer supports that growth cycle, but maturity and light are major determinants of whether a plant produces flower clusters.
Feeding during active growth provides nutrients used for new stems, leaves, roots, and flower development. Plumeria also needs strong sunlight, warmth, sufficient maturity, and appropriate watering to flower well, so fertilizer should be part of the overall routine rather than treated as a bloom guarantee.
Healthy leaves without flowers can mean your plumeria is too young, isn't receiving enough direct sunlight, or simply hasn't reached the right point in its growth cycle. Continue appropriate nutrition during active growth, but don't increase fertilizer solely to force flowering.
Concentrate feeding during the warm active-growing season, when new leaves and stems are developing. As temperatures cool and plumeria enters dormancy or loses its leaves, its nutrient demand drops and feeding should generally be reduced or paused.
Appropriate nutrition supports normal stem and leaf development as your plumeria grows. Strong structure also depends heavily on sunlight, maturity, and healthy roots, so excessive fertilizer shouldn't be used to try to speed up branch growth.
First consider whether your plumeria is approaching its normal seasonal dormancy, because leaf yellowing and drop can be natural as temperatures cool. During active growth, yellowing may also relate to nutrition, watering, drainage, or root conditions, so identify the likely cause before adding more fertilizer.
