The 3.6-3-5.1 ratio is built for a fruiting crop that grows and produces in one season. Nitrogen at 3.6% builds the strong plant and foliage that support the crop, and potassium at 5.1% — the highest of the three — drives fruit set, size, and the flavor and heat peppers develop. All of the nitrogen is nitrate nitrogen, the form roots absorb directly, so response is fast and burn risk stays low, even under the weekly feeding peppers want.
Beyond NPK: sea kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum) for natural growth compounds, plus calcium at 2.1% — unusually high, and the nutrient most tied to firm fruit walls and preventing blossom-end rot — magnesium (0.75%), iron, manganese, zinc, boron, and copper. Calcium and steady watering together are what keep peppers from developing the sunken dark patches of blossom-end rot at the fruit tip.

How often should I feed my pepper plants?
Once weekly through the growing season — use 1 Tbs per gallon for plants under 12 inches and 2 Tbs per gallon for larger or fruiting plants. Diluting into your regular watering keeps nutrition steady, which matters for peppers since consistent feeding and watering together are what prevent fruit problems.
What causes blossom-end rot and will this help?
Blossom-end rot is the dark sunken patch at the fruit tip, caused by calcium not reaching the developing fruit — usually from inconsistent watering rather than a lack of calcium in the soil. This formula supplies calcium at 2.1%, but the real fix is pairing it with even, regular watering so the plant can move that calcium into the fruit.
My pepper plant has lots of leaves but few peppers — why?
That's often too much nitrogen relative to everything else, which pushes foliage over fruit. This formula runs potassium well above nitrogen to favor fruiting. Pair it with full sun and warm temperatures — peppers also drop blossoms in extreme heat or cold — and fruit set should improve as conditions steady.
Will this burn my plants?
No — at the directed dilution, the formula is designed for weekly use all season. All-nitrate nitrogen and low salt concentration make burn very unlikely. For young transplants just going in, start at the smaller-plant rate and step up to the fruiting rate as they grow.
When will I see results?
