Feed every 1–2 weeks in spring and summer while your vine is actively growing, and every 4 weeks in fall and winter as it slows. Mix 1 teaspoon per quart of water and use it in place of a normal watering, so the nutrition arrives in small, consistent amounts. If you like to mist foliage, half a teaspoon per pint works as an optional leaf feed every 1–2 weeks.

Fertilizer burn happens when concentrated salts sit against the roots: too much product in too little water, or granules piled at the base of a plant.
