Desert Rose Fertilizer

Every 2 weeks during spring and summer while it's actively growing and blooming, and every 4 weeks in fall and winter. Diluting into your regular watering (1 tsp per quart) keeps feeding light and steady — desert rose is a succulent and does better with gentle consistent feeding than heavy doses, which its fine roots burn on.

At 1 tsp per quart, the 8 oz bottle makes about 48 watering cans of feed. For a typical shelf of 10–15 plants fed every 1–2 weeks in season, that's several months of feeding — and the 32 oz bottle four times that.

Desert rose blooms on warmth, strong light, and steady feeding. This formula's balanced ratio supports flowering, but light is the biggest factor — Adenium need full sun or very bright light to bloom well. Feed through the growing season, give it the brightest spot you have, and let it dry between waterings; they often bloom best when not overwatered.

Stop or greatly reduce feeding and watering during dormancy to avoid rotting the caudex, then resume the every-2-week schedule when new growth appears in spring. Dormancy is normal, not a sign the plant is dying.

Nitrate-based nitrogen and low salt concentration make burn very unlikely, but their fine roots are sensitive, so don't exceed the rate. For recently repotted plants, start at half strength for the first two feedings.
